Life after a baby, keeping the blog, and my new journey!

Hi guys,

I received an email from WordPress a few weeks back saying that my website was up for renewal which means I started this blog about a year ago.  As I contemplate the option of not renewing it and just accepting the fact that I will never have time to cook healthy recipes again I realized that that was the main reason why I started the blog to begin with. I wanted to inspire and be inspired to live a healthy lifestyle and try to be the best version of myself each day.  We all have crazy lives! we have jobs, kids, husbands, pets, social commitments, etc. that take our time every day and it is so hard to be aware of what we eat and what we put in our bodies.  As I continue my journey and all the changes happening in my life, I decided that now more than ever is a perfect time to keep the blog and continue to share my personal experience trying to stay as healthy as possible in my new crazy life!

Having a baby at this stage in my life has been incredibly challenging; as you know I have a 14 year old boy and we found out we were pregnant with our second boy last year! everything changed the moment our crazy little boy showed up in this world and life has never been the same. I decided to quit my job and stay home with him for now and officially became a “stay at home mom” which is something I never thought I would do.  As he continues to grow and starts to eat solid foods I remind myself of all the goals I had before he was born and the commitment I made to always try my best to feed him with the best foods available and to teach them where his food comes from.

This journey is only starting and if we want to change the world for the better I believe our job starts at home.  Teaching out little ones how to eat as healthy as possible with foods that nourish their bodies and give them energy is a key component for a healthy life.   In this new crazy chapter in my life my hope is that I teach my kids to love unconditionally, to be compassionate for all living things in the world, to love and respect themselves and others, and whatever it is they do in this world to do it with passion and love.

With all of that said, I look forward to continuing writing and sharing my experiences and recipes with you!

Love,

Yesika
